Saw this place on tv so stopped by meatball sub.... Sauce was delicious, meatballs okay, cheese not quite melted, sun roll good. Busy place and maybe they were here for the Philly cheesesteak and I'll try it next time I come through.
I'm an east coast boy and I can not believe how shocked I was to find a pretty spot on cheesesteak in, of all places, Salt Lake City! They mail it. Soft tasty fresh bread, perfectly cooked steak, onions with just a bit of bite. The staff was friendly as most slc folks are. It's more a grab and go place but that's fine. Listen it ain't Philly so let's not put it back to back with those, but it's still pretty good. And the Italian sub was a shocker too! Really delicious. A taste of the subs back east here in Utah!

Stopped in as we were passing through Salt Lake City. They advertised as the best cheesesteak in the city and this place didn't disappoint. I had the daily special which was the Reuben, and it was great and my wife had the cheesesteak and as good as the Reuben was, I regretted not getting the cheesesteak. Must have if you're in the area

Moochie's lives up to their Diner's Drive In's and Dive's persona. The property is nothing special, but the food is fantastic. Service is prompt and I have never had an erroneous order. There are two Moochie's in SLC area...I believe the original is the way to go.
Love Moochies! Great Philly Cheesesteaks and their jalapeños sauce to put on the Philly is so good. A+ for the sauce.
Best fries in SLC and really good fry sauce too. They have a spicy version but I prefer the taste of the mild fry sauce.
Daughter ordered the chicken sandwich and said us was very good.

Cute little place. Placed order at counter. Funky cool cashier. Order up quickly. He meowed when my order was ready (my name is Catt) and that took me back to my favorite dive bar in Austin. Felt certain the food would be on par with my favorite place in Austin. Wasn't wrong. Food was INCREDIBLE! I had already had a hard time deciding what to order. Now I wanted one of everything. But we had limited time and were in an Uber. So delicious though. Had to use restroom and glad I did. You have to ask for key, which is a code. Restroom in separate buildings that is intended for overflow. Such a adorable bathroom. 50s retro. Tub has plants in it. Staff friendly and said bye and come back soon. Sadly I am back in Texas...yet dreaming of Moochies
Love these meatballs! Moochie's is the spot. I get the Atomic Meatball! The Jumping Jalapeño sauce is awesome. If you're not into hot things I suggest not getting this one. Never really liked meatball subs till here. They make it so easy to eat with the foil. I will be back very soon.
